At Painted Porch, a lot of the work that makes a great client experience possible happens quietly behind the scenes. Crystal Varga is one of the people making sure all those details get done, and that our clients feel supported along the way.
As a Client Concierge, Crystal works closely with both clients and advisors on the countless moving pieces that come with managing a full financial picture. Opening accounts, moving money, coordinating transfers, if there’s an administrative detail that needs attention, there’s a good chance Crystal is somewhere in the middle of it.
At the heart of Crystal’s work is something pretty simple: she likes helping people. There’s real satisfaction in taking something that may feel complicated or stressful to a client and helping make it easier. She also loves the problem-solving side of the job. When something doesn’t go according to plan, Crystal is usually more energized than intimidated by the challenge of figuring it out.
That support shows up in very important moments. Helping someone navigate the logistics around retirement or in seemingly smaller ones, like finally consolidating a handful of old accounts. Either way, spinning a proper financial web can make even straightforward tasks feel significant. Crystal sees an important part of her job as helping people feel comfortable enough to take the next step, which requires earning the trust of clients as well as those she works with.
Outside of the Porch, Crystal stays plenty busy with her two boys. When they can get outside, you might find them kayaking, fishing, or finding some other adventure together.
