Brian Lloyd
Brian founded Painted Porch in Santa Barbara in 2019 with a belief that financial wellness should support a meaningful, fulfilling life. Drawing on his years in New York finance, he built a firm that connects financial expertise with a deeper understanding of what matters to each client. Today, he calls Santa Barbara home and brings that same commitment to the team and community.
Dana Weymouth
Born and raised in Santa Barbara, Dana leads team development and operations at Painted Porch. A Westmont College graduate, he brings experience growing teams and managing CRM technology, with a focus on helping people do their best work. His local roots run deep, including 20 years coaching youth soccer and building connections with families across the community

Katie is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional with more than a decade of experience in private banking and asset management. She helps clients navigate life transitions with clarity and a financial plan grounded in their priorities. A California native who calls Santa Barbara home, Katie enjoys hiking coastal trails and volunteering at the Sea Center.
Justin Vlaanderen, CFP®
Justin is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional who brings curiosity and a love of detailed analysis to helping clients plan for their future. He enjoys working through complex financial questions and seeing clients move toward their goals. Justin lives in Santa Barbara with his wife and two dogs and paints atmospheric landscapes in oils.
Carson Hansen
Carson studied Finance and Economics at the University of Oregon and joined Painted Porch to combine his love of finance with his desire to help people live meaningful lives. Born and raised in California, he brings curiosity, a global perspective, and an adventurous spirit to his work with clients.
Grace McClellan, CFP®
Grace brings a global perspective and an analytical approach to helping clients make confident, informed financial decisions. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, she earned her BA in Global Economics from UC Santa Cruz and completed Wharton’s Financial Analytics program. She now lives and works in Santa Barbara.
Craig Schmitt
Craig helps clients feel welcomed and supported, bringing empathy, care, and experience from his previous work in the legal field. Originally from Wisconsin, he now calls Santa Barbara home and enjoys building relationships with clients and the wider community.
Brett Reeves
Brett brings a background in psychology and the wine industry to his work supporting the team and client experience at Painted Porch. A lifelong musician, he values thoughtful service, personal connection, and being part of the Santa Barbara community.
Gregg Hackethal
Gregg brings nearly four decades of experience managing investments for institutions, individuals, and family trusts. A Santa Barbara resident for 40 years, he has longstanding ties to the city’s cultural community, including the Santa Barbara Museum of Art and Santa Barbara Symphony Endowment.

Where is Painted Porch Advisors located in Santa Barbara?
Our Santa Barbara office is at 115 S La Cumbre Lane, Suite 201, Santa Barbara, CA 93105. We're a short drive from downtown and easy to reach from anywhere on the South Coast.
What does "fee-only fiduciary" mean?
It means our compensation comes directly from clients — never from product commissions, kickbacks, or referral fees. As fiduciaries, we're legally and ethically bound to put your interests first, every time.
Do I need a minimum amount of assets to work with you?
No! We work with a range of clients — from individuals just starting to build wealth to families managing multi-generational portfolios. Help First meetings are always free, so we can talk through whether we're a good fit.
Can I meet the team in person?
Absolutely. Our La Cumbre Lane office is open Monday through Friday, and we love hosting clients in person. We also gather as a team throughout the year and host Community events.
