As we continue our Get to Know Our Team series, we want to reintroduce you to Tim Lindvall.
Learn more about Tim’s story and values in his video!
As a Financial Advisor, Tim’s path to Painted Porch was a bit different than most—he actually started as a client. While going through the planning process himself, he found himself drawn to the way the team worked and the impact they had on his own financial outlook. That firsthand experience gave him a deep appreciation for the “Painted Porch way,” and eventually, he decided he wanted to be the one helping others navigate that same journey.
At the office, Tim’s day rarely looks the same twice, and that’s how he likes it. Whether he’s diving into research, preparing for a scheduled meeting, or jumping into a spontaneous brainstorming session, his focus is always on collaboration. “We’re constantly working together to get things right for the client,” Tim says. Much of his time is spent simply listening—truly understanding a client’s concerns so he can help tailor a financial path that actually fits their life.
When he isn’t at his desk, you’ll likely find Tim on the water. He’s an avid fisherman and loves wake surfing with his family. These moments aren’t just hobbies; they are how he stays grounded. This love for family and adventure fits right in with our values at Painted Porch, where we believe personal connections and shared experiences are just as meaningful as the work we do in the office.
Tim often talks about being “adventurous,” but not just in terms of outdoor sports. To him, it’s about having a learner’s mindset. “There is always something new to uncover when it comes to personal finance,” he explains. By staying curious, Tim helps his clients explore new solutions and navigate their unique financial situations with confidence.
Tim’s goals and values remain the same: to build a relationship based on trust, curiosity, and shared adventure. Having sat on both sides of the table, he brings a unique level of empathy to everything he does—and we’re thrilled to have his perspective on our team.
