We are excited to announce our support for Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara — our first recipient of giving from our Help First charitable commitment!

One foundational element of our Help First philosophy is our donation of $100 for every financial plan we create. We wanted our first donation to go toward helping our local Santa Barbara community, the place where Painted Porch was born.

We especially love the alignment here. Girls Inc. believes, like us, in human potential. They inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Combining long-lasting mentoring relationships, a pro-girl environment, and research-based programming, Girls Inc. equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers, and grow up healthy, educated, and independent. For 60+ years, Girls, Inc. has helped and inspired thousands of girls to become the best versions of themselves. We couldn’t be more proud to be in their corner. 

Through your trust in us, we are able to fund over 200 hours of “The Girls Inc. Experience” for girls in the community! Our donation supports Girls Inc’s virtual spring event on April 16, “StrongHER Together: Finding Strength Through Sport”.  If you would also like to support the event or the organization independently, we highly encourage it (You can donate here).
